Upon arriving home from various errands I was informed, much to my delight and horror, that m only remaining female parakeet, Momo-san, laid an egg. I was delighted to see the pearly pink oval, and was horrified that she had chewed off half the nestbox floor. I quickly went out to a fairl new shop on Gladstone in Sylmar and bought a, may I say very very reasonably priced!, new nest box. Now I’m waiting to watch Momo-san hop in and make it her nest.
