Why do some reporters call the current US President “Mr. Obama” as opposed to “President Obama”?
Is it just me, or does this seem rude?
Am I being silly, or does it seem to detract from Barack Obama’s current position as the President of the United States of America? Isn’t it a bit like separating the yolk from the egg, and therefore having an egg white and egg yolk? Is it the intention of these reporters to do such a thing?
What a mystery.
